We visited the Cancer Redemption Project where we visited the children and saw the progress on the new church/school building. The next stop was SEED Ministeries where we learned about the start of SEED and toured the student garden patches. From there we visited Centre Lumiere where ladies are trained in sewing to provide for their families. The team enjoyed purchasing some of the handmade items to take home. We made a quick stop at the home of Tim and Joan Reinhard to pick up Aaron Luthi's luggage that finally made it's way to Les Cayes. (His bag did not make our flight from Atlanta to Port Au Prince). Our final stop was supper at Hot Spot, a restaurant in Les Cayes. The food was fast food type stuff like Hamburgers, Pizza, Chicken Wings as well as some typical Haitian food. While the food was not fast, it was pretty good.
It was a very busy day and we were all rather tired by the time we arrived home. Rick drove one of our vehicles and had his first experience with night driving in Haiti.
