A quick post this morning seeking to inform and ask for prayer's for Haiti and the mission here at Hôpital Lumière today and for the next couple days. As you may be aware, Hurricane Matthew is expected to affect Haiti. Haiti is always very ill-prepared to deal with disasters. Please pray for the Mission lifting up the hospital patients, staff and missionaries. Pray for the community of Bonne Fin. Pray for the country of Haiti that life is preserved.
Personally, our family was planning a 2 week visit to Florida starting Tuesday (Oct 4). We've moved that up a day to try beat the storm. We'd appreciate prayers for safe travels but most importantly, for the missionary team here as they weather the storm and deal with it's effects. The families that will be here during the storm are the Plattner's, Beebe's and Dr. Pat Banwart. Please lift them up!
